Rentmote Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Introduction

Welcome to Rentmote ("we", "our" or "the Platform"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of our web platform and mobile applications for property management. By using Rentmote, you fully accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Platform.

Rentmote is a comprehensive property management platform designed for property managers, real estate agencies, and owners who wish to manage rentals, contracts, tenants, payments, incidents, and financial reports from a single place.

2. Use of the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental or guardian consent to use the Platform.
You may not use the Platform for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
The Platform may be in an early access or continuous improvement phase, so some features may be subject to changes, updates, or limited availability.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access the Platform's features, you must create an account by providing truthful, accurate, and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
Rentmote shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4. Services Provided

Rentmote provides, among others, the following features:

Management of properties and real estate units.
Rental contract management (tenants and owners).
Registration and tracking of tenants, owners, and suppliers.
Payment administration, billing, and financial reporting.
Incident and maintenance request management.
Communication between managers, tenants, and suppliers.
Access to accounting reports and customizable financial statements.
Mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Specific features available may vary depending on the plan subscribed to and the Platform's development phase.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Access to certain Rentmote features may require payment of a subscription or associated fees.
Prices, billing cycles, and payment terms will be specified at the time of subscription.
Rentmote reserves the right to modify prices upon prior notice to users.
Payments are processed through external payment service providers. Rentmote does not directly store credit or debit card information.
Refunds will be handled in accordance with the billing policy in effect at the time of the request.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, its source code, design, logos, trademarks, texts, graphics, and other content belong to Rentmote or are used under license.
Copying, modifying, distributing, creating derivative works, reverse engineering, or using our content without prior written authorization is not permitted.
The user retains ownership of the data entered into the Platform, granting Rentmote a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Privacy and Personal Data

The collection, use, and protection of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, available on the Platform.
By using Rentmote, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with that policy.
Rentmote implements technical and organizational measures to protect personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

8. Third-Party Services

Rentmote may integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, accounting services, background check providers, and other vendors.
Use of such third-party services is subject to each provider's terms and conditions.
Rentmote is not responsible for the services, interruptions, or practices of third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee its uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation.
Rentmote shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform.
Rentmote does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the information generated by the Platform, including financial reports or analyses. The user is responsible for verifying critical information.
In no event shall Rentmote's total liability exceed the amount paid by the user in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. User Obligations

The user agrees to:

Provide truthful and up-to-date information during registration and use of the Platform.
Not use the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
Not interfere with the Platform's operation or attempt to access restricted areas.
Respect the intellectual property rights of Rentmote and third parties.
Maintain the confidentiality of other users' information to which they may have access.

11. Termination

The user may cancel their account at any time by following the procedure indicated on the Platform.
Rentmote reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious violation.
Upon termination, the user will lose access to the Platform. Data may be retained as set forth in the Privacy Policy and applicable legislation.

12. Changes to the Terms

Rentmote reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time to adapt to legal, technical, or business changes.
Changes will take effect once published on the Platform.
It is the user's responsibility to review the Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance thereof.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall preferably be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the parties shall submit to the courts and tribunals that correspond under applicable law.
